Hurricane Season
As you can see from The Ticker, we are already well into the typically longer lead times of summer. COVID Update
The governor of Nebraska announced last week that we are moving into Phase III of our Covid response. Hughes Brothers remains a Covid-free factory with zero cases. Our Human Resources Manager and Safety Manager have been staying up-to-date on precautions and safety measures and they are doing a great job of keeping everyone at HB informed on how to stay healthy.
New Products
We are currently into the later stages of tests on two new pole link style bands. The big difference between current products offered? Ours will be made in America! More to come as we finalize the design, but we are excited to debut this at IEEE.
Engineering Update
Speaking of testing, HB has a new engineering intern, Cordell Mika. He is a junior at UNL and is spending the summer learning the industry, our products, and doing lots of testing. We are hoping to get him to the IEEE T&D show this fall.
