Each year there are several FRP specific academic conferences. Some attract global attention such as the FRPRCS series, which is held every other year in a venue that rotates between a N. American, European and Asian location. The ACMBS or Advanced Composite Materials for Bridge and Structures series is organized in a Canadian venue. The International Institute for FRP's in Construction or IIFC is an organiztion of academic researchers in the field of FRP's that sanction several conferences worldwide.
