Restoration of the historic ship "De Delft" in Waaldijk Netherlands. Launched in 1783 to protect convoys of the East Indian Company and sunk by the British Navy in 1795. In 1993, the wrek of De Delft was recovered and is now being restored. In some areas portions of old historic timber are joined to new timbers using 32mm diameter Aslan 100 GFRP bars. |
