| Aslan 100 Glass Fiber reinforced polymer rebar, or "fiberglass rebar" can be used to strengthening existing masonry walls for flexure or shear. Guidelines are being drafted in ACI committee 440-M that will be published soon to give the designer guidance. One nice benefit of "Structural re-pointing" with fiberglass rebar is that the exterior appearance of unreinforced masonry is unaffected. | |||||||||||||||||
